Father and son Tim and Zak Jarvis have broken Minster Lovell’s all-time record partnership.

The duo shared a 254-run stand in their second team’s 61-run victory at home to Hook Norton 2nd in Division 6.

After the loss of an early wicket, 17-year-old Zak came to the crease with his father, and the pair dispatched the bowling to all parts.

Oxfordshire Under 17 all-rounder Zak finished on 156, and Tim 88 not out as Minster reached 270-2 in their 45 overs.

Hook Norton were restricted to 209-9 in their reply, Matt Booker scoring 83.

Minster Lovell 29pts, Hook Norton 6 Risinghurst stayed top after a nine-wicket win at Dorchester.

Vishal Lal scored 55 not out to take Risinghurst to 130-1 in reply to Dorchester’s 126-5.

Dorchester 2, Risinghurst 27 Shrivenham 2nd eased to a 117-run win at home to Sunningwell.

Adam Taylor top-scored with 75 in Shrivenham’s 189, before Sunningwell fell for just 72.

Shrivenham 30, Sunningwell 6 Tim MacIntyre scored 105 not out to steer Division 4 leaders Wolvercote to a ten-wicket home victory over Garsington 2nd.

Garsington were dismissed for 133, before MacIntyre led the way inWolvercote’s reply of 134-0.

Wolvercote 30, Garsington 2nd 2 Wootton & Boars Hill stayed in the promotion hunt, seeing off visitors Stanton St John Willows by four wickets.

Martin Bungay (3-14) and Dave Spilsbury (3-43) combined to dismiss Willows for 182, before Shaun Morton hit 55 not out as Wootton reached 186-6.

Wootton & BH 30, Willows 7 Swinbrook saw off hosts Deddington by 33 runs.

Swinbrook were bowled out for 177, before Andrew Wingfield Digby claimed 4-19 as Deddington were dismissed for 144 in reply.

Deddington 7, Swinbrook 29 Kidlington stayed second in Division 5 as they beat visitors West Witney by 105 runs.

Kidlington posted 256-7 as Will Wilkin (58) and Ralph Bishop (40) shone.

Dan Farrant (4-24) and Leighton James (3-39) then helped to dismiss West Witney for 151.

Kidlington 30, West Witney 6 Aston Leach (62no) and Marc Buckingham (50) earned Hanborough to a nine-wicket win at home to Uffington.

Daniel Simpson took 4-30 in Uffington’s 123, before Leach and Buckingham led Hanborough to 127-1.

Hanborough 30, Uffington 2 Marcham stayed in the promotion hunt as they defeated home side Cassington Rescue by 93 runs.

James France hit 80 out of Marcham’s 257-9.

Junaid Mumtaz scored 69 in Rescue’s reply, but 4-37 from Stuart Armstrong helped to dismiss the west Oxfordshire side for 164.
