Chris Watling hit 56 not out in Rowant’s 106-6, with debutant 14-year-old left-arm spinner Lloyd Belcher taking 3-20.
Stand-in captain Pat Foster (55no) and Robbie Eason (45no) accelerated their innings well, taking Horspath to 107-0 in 14.3 overs.
