MORNING leaders Great & Little Tew 2nd won praise from their opponents but nothing else after their brave run chase came up short.
Buckingham 2nd posted 140-6 from 40 overs thanks to Andrew Thatcher (63no).
Tew’s reply was reduced to 29 overs and they went for the win, but Dom Pritchard took 5-59 as they were bowled out for 138 with three balls left.

Didcot replace Tew at the top despite being held by East Oxford.
Their innings was cut to 42 overs, but they still racked up 232-2 led by Henry Brisland (68no) and Connor Morrison (54no).
The visitors reached 216-7 from their 36 overs, with Atif Ali top-scoring on 58.

Matt Warner hit an unbeaten 50 and then took 5-24 as Kingston Bagpuize drew with Witney Mills.
Martin Shepherd made 44 in Kingston’s 173-7 from 43 overs, and Mills were hanging on at 108-9.

Horley reduced Wallingford to 45-4 before a 190-run partnership between Warren Ainsworth (95) and Mark Carey (89no) set the hosts on their way to 231-5.
Colin Allen (5-43) and John Brannan (4-59) dismissed Horley for 154.

Chearsley won by eight wickets at Stokenchurch.
The home side were all out for 105 and Neil Davies (52no) eased Chearlsey over the line.
