OXFORD City booked their place in the final of the Oxfordshire Senior Cup – and a tie against Oxford United – by seeing off Thame United 5-0 in last night’s semi-final at the ASM Stadium. City always had too much fire-power for the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division outfit and were 2-0 to the good at half-time.
Three more goals followed after the interval from a City side comprising a mixture of first and reserve team players as they ended Thame’s fine run in the competition.
Mark Bell and Felipe Barcelos helped themselves to doubles, with City’s other goal coming from Nick Stanley.
