HANNAH England went far more than the extra mile during an Easter visit to Guernsey.

The Oxford City star won a 1,500m world silver medal in 2011 and will seek to go one better over that distance in Moscow this summer.

But this did not stop the 26-year-old taking part in the KPMG Guernsey Easter Half Marathon on Monday.

England recorded a time of 1hr 25mins 36secs for the 13.1-mile course, to finish as fourth lady and 20th overall.

The day before, she anchored ‘Team GB’ to be first ladies’ team home in the Guernsey Easter Stonecrusher 4x2 mile cross country relay.

England was on the Channel Island with her husband Luke Gunn, who ran all four races over the weekend.
