OXFORD MAIL GIRLS LEAGUE

SHELLEY Knight’s hat-trick helped Oxford City reach the Under 14 League Cup semi-finals with a 4-0 victory at Stonesfield Strikers.

League leaders City were pushed harder than the scoreline suggests, but they remain on course for the double.

Knight netted twice in the first half half, with Dara Austin sliding in No 3, while Knight’s third was also her 35th of the season.

Under 12

Didcot Casuals progressed to the League Cup semi-finals after beating Tower Hill Vixens Red 4-0 in their final Group A Match.

Goals from Annika Manwaring, Bethany Hastings, Isabel Hughes and Maili Nugent put hosts Didcot in contol at half-time.

Under 10

Two 6-0 wins over Wantage saw Didcot Casuals reach the League Cup semi-finals.

Didcot played the Group A clashes back-to-back, with goals from Jevon Brown (3), Farah Khan (2) and Caitlin Taylor proving decisive in the first tie.

Khan (2), Brown (2), Kezia Bellis and Lily May struck in match two.

  • CROWMARSH went three points clear at the top of the Under 11 League after winning 4-0 at Wantage.

They netted twice in each half, with Alice Thorby (2), Maisy Thomas and Lily Norrington on target.

Emily Parker and Katie Mclean bagged doubles as Bloxham won 5-2 at Tower Hill Vixens in the Under 13 League.

Jade Ryman also netted for the visitors, with Abigail Greenfield and Ciera Harris replying.
