Henley Hawks head coach Nigel Dudding was not getting carried away with his side’s 41-9 derby demolition of Chinnor.
Dudding was happy enough with a bonus-point victory, but stressed there was room for improvement.
“I was satisfied with the performance,” said Dudding. “Some other good sides have come here and struggled.
“When we finish, we finish well, but I thought we made a lot of mistakes.
“We were not as clinical and accurate as we would like to be and our lineout didn’t function well.
“However, the defence was awesome.”
Dudding added: “It didn’t feel like a really passionate derby game, but it is still five points.”
Chinnor head coach Jason Bowers said: “We were beaten by a better team.
“We played well in parts, but didn’t control possession well enough when we got in behind them and when we had the opportunity to create chances.
“I thought Henley played very well. Their additional players Jonah Holmes and Will Robinson were excellent.”
