Danny Bone scored a hat-trick as Old Woodstock Town got back to winning ways with a 3-0 home success against Lambourn Sports in Uhlsport Hellenic League Division 1 West on Saturday.
Hook Norton drew 1-1 away to Fairford Town. Danny Poole netted for Hooky with Ethan Delaney on target for the hosts. Clanfield were thumped 5-0 at leaders Brimscombe & Thrupp for whom Michael Beckingham (2), David Woodfield, Lee Pritchard and Matt Green sealed the rout.
Chinnor moved up to third place in Division 1 East with a surprise 2-0 win at leaders Rayners Lane, with Ryan Chapman (penalty) and Jamie Essex on target.
Second-placed Headington Amateurs crashed 5-1 at Penn & Tylers Green for whom Chris Hurst, Rino Sepede (2), George Coyle and Danny Jordan scored. Shaun Jacobs hit back for Headington.
An Aaron Andrews double was in vain as Milton United lost 3-2 at Chalfont Wasps, with Mark Stack, Edward Chemlal and Fred Tripp netting.
Easington Sports beat Maidenhead United 2-0 at home with Peter Moulder and Lewis Travers the scorers.
