Alex Stanley scored the winner as Didcot Town ended a winless run of five Division 1 South & West matches with a 2-1 victory against Clevedon Town at the npower Loop Meadow Stadium on Saturday.
With time running out a draw looked likely, only for Stanley to strike in the final minute.
Didcot took the lead when Elliott Osborne-Ricketts fired a superb low shot beyond Joe Perry into the far corner of the net.
On 34th minutes, only a super stop from Perry prevented Morgan Williams’s long-range drive doubling the home side’s lead.
After the break, Clevedon levelled with a controversial goal, Russell Church thumping home from 30 yards after Williams was left lying injured after being fouled in the Clevedon box.
But with a minute left, Didcot got the winner, Stanley thumping home after Janes’s shot was blocked.
