Craig Pitson bagged a brace as Horspath fought back from 4-0 down to secure a home draw with Oxford Irish in an eight-goal Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division thriller.

Goals from Tom Gaughan (2), Padraic Folan and Piers McGlynn appeared to put the visitors in control with 30 minutes to go.

But Pitson’s double plus strikes from Simon Evans and Seb Warner saw Horspath complete an incredible fightback.

Garsington let slip a lead and had James O’Brien sent off as they lost 3-1 at Adderbury Park.

Shaun Augustine put the visitors ahead, only for Mark Essex to head in the leveller and James Gibbard to put Adderbury in front. Garsington were reduced to ten men when O’Brien was dismissed after a scuffle in the Adderbury penalty area.

Lee Timms made no mistake from the resulting penalty to seal their revival.

A double from Nick Skiller helped Chalgrove battle to a 5-2 home win against Kidlington Old Boys in Division 1.

Skiller fired Chalgrove ahead, only for a Tony Skinner double to put the visitors 2-1 ahead.

Skiller completed his double to level, before goals from James Quainton, Tim Cox and Keith Coleman secured it for Chalgrove.

Max Palmer, Elliott Powell and Michael Hinkin were on target for North Oxford in a 3-1 home win against Long Crendon for whom Joe Fograsher replied.

Enstone edged to a 2-1 success at fellow strugglers Broughton & North Newington, thanks to strikes from Dean Blake and Jack Grey.

Steve Norman hit back for Broughton.

Freeland Res crushed Oxford University Press Res 4-2 in Division 2, with goals from Ben Sadler, Tom Scroggs, Craig Wood and Nathan Langford.
