Magdalen College School and Radley College produced winning crews in the Wycliffe Head.
Magdalen recorded two victories – one in the J14 quads, unopposed, and one in the J15 quads, well ahead of rivals led by Monmouth Comprehensive.
Radley won the novice fours, chased home by Oratory – compensation for Oratory pushing Radley into second in the J16 fours.
Radley achieved another second place in the junior eights, beaten by King’s, Chester, who recorded the fastest time of the day.
St Edward’s School, Oxford, had a frustrating day of near misses, with four runners-up spots.
