ANDREW Hoggins, from Didcot, has joined Oxford Rugby League.
The 24-year-old centre or loose forward signed for the new club, who will play in Championship One, which is now sponsored by Kingstone Press Cider.
Hoggins hopes to play for Germany where he was born.
He has previously trained with Britain’s skeleton bob team preparing for the Winter Olympics, but he is now focused on rugby league.
“I was really excited on hearing that Oxford were introducing a side for the 2013 season and I was signing for them,” he said.
