Oxford United revealed they cancelled their annual Christmas party because of a hectic schedule over the festive period.
The U’s players were due to go out after the Aldershot game a fortnight ago, but because of last night’s FA Cup replay adding to their fixture list, decided it was not appropriate.
Including last night’s clash against Accrington, the U’s have five matches in 15 days.
United’s other games around Christmas are Fleetwood at home this Saturday, Exeter City away on Boxing Day, AFC Wimbledon away on Saturday, December 29 and then Cheltenham at home on January 1.
