OXxfordshire 3rd overcame a bad start to beat Shropshire 2nd 8-7 in Division 6 of the County Championship.
Jamie Blair recorded the only win as Oxon trailed 3-1 after the singles.
But a teriffic round of level doubles saw the hosts win six of the eight matches.
David Buckingham and Ian Ross, as well as Becky Foster and Amy Lawson won both their matches, with Jamie Brockie and Mike Brockie, along with Fauzia Arif and Sarah Lloyd collecting one victory.
That left Oxon needing one success in the mixed doubles, and they managed just that – Buckingham and Arif ensuring their side were victorious.
