OXFORD University hit back in style to win today’s Varsity Match 26-19 at Twickenham and make it three straight victories.

Cambridge led 16-6 after a penalty-strewn first half.

Full back Rob Stephen kicked three to Oxford centre Cassian Bramham-Law’s two, but also converted a try from wing Andy Murdoch.

Stephen made it 19-6, but back came Oxford with 20 unanswered points.

Full back Sam Egerton, flanker James Harris and replacement Charlie Marr all went over, with Marr converting one and adding a penalty.
