Cheney Falcon Rowing Club beat the floods and the opposition to strike gold at the Oxfordshire Inter-School Rowing Competition at Wheatley Park.
The Cheney School-based team of ten triumphed in the event for 12 to 16-year-olds, with Wallingford finishing runners-up.
And for good measure, Cheney’s B string took bronze.
Jubilant Cheney coach John Forster said: “We are overcoming the floods by rowing indoors – nothing can beat us.”
Cheney are next in action in the Monmouth Head on December 9.
