Zac McEachran hit a hat-trick as Oxford & Cherwell Valley College reached the last eight of the ESFA Under 18 Colleges Trophy by crushing New College (Swindon) 6-1.

Liam Palfreeman, Tom O’Donnell and Jack Self completed Oxford’s tally in the fourth-round clash at Marsh Lane, Marston.

They are now away to Hopwood Hall College, Rochdale.

Cokethorpe (Witney) also claimed a last-eight spot in emphatic style with a 5-0 win at Ark Kings (Birmingham) in the ESFA Under 14 Small Schools’ Trophy fourth round.

All the goals came in the second half, with Will Fletcher’s hat-trick supplemented by strikes from Max England and Matthew Ellacott.

They now face Broadlands (Keynsham) at Keynsham Town next Wednesday.

OXFORD City are away to Blackheath in the ESFA Under 15 Trophy fourth round on Saturday (11am).

KING Alfred’s (Wantage) were crowned the Vale of White Horse Under 12 five-a-side champions with a 3-1 win over St Birinus (Didcot) at Faringdon Leisure Centre.

Scott Webb (2) and Scott Ballard netted for King Alfred’s, with Harry Thomas replying.

In the semi-finals, King Alfred’s defeated John Mason (Abingdon) on sudden-death penalties following a goalless draw after extra time, while St Birinus beat European (Culham) 3-0.

King Alfred’s now represent Vale in the Southern area competition at Fareham on Tuesday, January 22.
