WHO needs Rudolph when a donkey can do just as well?
Father Christmas visited the Island Farm Donkey Sanctuary in Brightwell-cum-Sotwell, near Wallingford, ahead of his star turn at the Cornerstone arts centre in Didcot next month.
He also toured Didcot Parkway railway station, Didcot Railway Centre and the Earth Trust Centre in Little Wittenham.
Father Christmas will appear in the Cornerstone’s Christmas show, The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus, from Monday, December 15 to Wednesday, December 24. Tickets are £12 for adults, £9 for concessions and £35 for families.
