CCTV footage of the arson attack on South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse district councils' headquarters has been released tonight.
The video shows how Andrew Main, who was sectioned indefinitely today under the Mental Health Act, drove his car through the entrance of the building in Crowmarsh Gifford in January.
He is then seen marching around the complex as he starts the fire.
The 47-year-old of Rokemarsh near Wallingford admitted on May 1 that he started the fires, including one which caused severe damage to South Oxfordshire andVale of White Horse District Council offices on January 15.
He pleaded guilty to four counts of arson with intent to endanger life and not guilty to a charge of arson with intent to endanger life.
