FLOODS: Threat will not stop Dalton Barracks parade
10:00am Tuesday 27th November 2012 in Countywide
The threat of flooding will not stop today’s homecoming parade for 350 troops from Dalton Barracks.
The parade will begin at 10.30am at the Fire Station in Ock Street, Abingdon.
The troops of 4 Logistic Support Regiment will march to the market place, where the Mayor Monica Lovatt will give an address at 10.40am.
The parade will continue to St Helen’s Church where there will be a service which the public are welcome to attend.
