FORMER apprentice Hannah Crowder used the sweet tooth of BMW car workers to raise money for charity.
Ms Crowder baked and iced 48 Easter cupcakes to sell at the Mini Plant Oxford in Cowley.
The cupcakes were sold in support of the Children’s Trust – BMW Group UK’s charity of the year.
Each individually-decorated cupcake was sold for a £2 donation to the Children’s Trust, with Hannah covering the cost of creating the cakes herself. She raised about £100.
Ms Crowder said: “I wanted to raise money for such a worthy cause; I decided to use one of my best skills to raise the money, which is baking.”
The Children’s Trust has been the BMW Group UK charity of the year since 2010, voted for by the workforce.
Other BMW workers have helped support the charity through a range of activities, from sky-diving to running a marathon.
