Want to strut your stuff on the catwalk? Fancy a career in modelling? Then this is your chance.

Oxford Fashion Week is not only searching for the Face of OFW, but also the 80 male and female catwalk models needed for the five OFW shows.

Auditions are being held, in association with Flawless Models, on Saturday, December 4, between 5pm and 8pm at The House Bar in Blue Boar Street.

John Spyrou, models casting director, said: “I’m looking for a diverse group of models, from the striking and unusual for the Concept Show, my fav-ourite, to the classical and elegant for the Couture Show. All models will be considered regardless of modelling experience.”

Last year’s ‘Face’, Witney girl Tiffany Saunders, has since featured in London Fashion Week and on the international fashion stage.

She said: “To anyone considering casting for OFW 2011 I would strongly recommend it, whether it’s a modelling career they want or to have some fun. It’s a great experience.”

Oxford Fashion Week is being held from February 28 to March 5, 2011, in conjunction with the Oxford Mail, and the Face of OFW will be announced exclusively in The Guide on January 6.

OFW executive producer Carl Anglim said: “We have no preconceptions about what models should look like because it is so diverse. For example, the lingerie show tends to attract a more feminine figure, at the couture show models will need to be tall and interesting, while at the concept show anything goes.

“ Neither do we have a minimum size requirement. We are looking for someone who is genuinely beautiful with interesting features.”

Big names like Alexander McQueen have already signed up to appear at OFW, now in its third year.

Models must be over 16 and will be required to walk for the casting directors. Take high heels and a bikini if auditioning for the lingerie show.
