Officers from Thames Valley Police were alerted this morning when a tree was knocked down by a lorry, blocking Five Mile Drive in North Oxford.
Officers from the force's road policing department tweeted this picture of the fallen tree and said Oxford City Council staff had been alerted so they could bring a chainsaw to remove the tree.
It is not yet known if anyone was injured in the incident.
