FOUR-YEAR-old Inkeri Erola wasn't bothered by the rain as she enjoyed a ride at the South Park fun fair on Easter Sunday.

Families braved the blustery weather to scoff candyfloss, win cuddly toys on the coconut shy and seek their thrills on the roller coaster.

Inkeri's mum Anne Moilanen said the family often visit the park on Headington Hill, East Oxford, and thought they would come down for the morning.

The mum-of-three, who lives in Cowley, said: "We all had a great time at the park.

"We're always going there, especially for walks, so it was nice to have all the rides and stalls today.

"Inkeri had a lovely time and my older children particularly liked the dodgems.

"There were quite a lot of things going on there so it meant there was something for everyone."

Paul Springer, who lives in High Wycombe but was visiting family in Oxford, took his five-year-old granddaughter, Jahian, down to the fair.

He said: "She enjoyed it, she really liked the tea cup ride.

"I tried to take her on the roller coaster but she didn't want to go."
