Cuddesdon Way in Blackbird Leys closed for funeral of Val Smith
A ROAD in Blackbird Leys is closed this morning for the funeral of a much-loved councillor.
Cuddesdon Way has been closed for the funeral of former county councillor Val Smith.
The former Lord Mayor and wife to Oxford East MP Andrew Smith, died on Friday, May 15 after battling cancer.
About 700 people are expected to attend her funeral this afternoon.
The road will be re-opened later today.
