DEDDINGTON Farmers’ Market chairman Geoff Todd has been elected to the Council of the National Farmers’ Retail and Markets Association (Farma) for the next three years.
Mr Todd helped set up the market in 2001 as part of Deddington Market Management Group.
He has seen the market grow from 12 to 60 stalls over the past decade.
Over the years he has been the group’s treasurer, headed up marketing and public relations and now is its chairman.
Mr Todd said: “Naturally I am honoured to have been elected.
“I’m looking forward to sharing the experience gained at Deddington Farmers’ Market.”
