A STRING of designer brands have been confirmed for the latest massive expansion at Bicester Village just weeks before the opening.

The countdown continues to click away before shoppers can delve into 31 new shops and two new restaurants opening at the designer outlet in Bicester on October 19.

But the latest announcement lifts the lid on some of the top brands which will be part of various concessions to open within some of the new stores including scores of designer clothing lines, top handbag brands and jewellery.

The list makes up a number of designers, but the official list of stores is yet to be confirmed.

Brands include Markus Lupfer, Brora, Chinti and Parker and Ross Barr. [For the full list of brands see below]

The new shops will bring the total number of stores at the centre up to more than 160 – almost a fifth bigger than its size before it was expanded.

It create at least 450 additional new jobs, bringing the total number of people employed at Bicester Village to 3,500.

Work started late last year both on the outlet's expansion as well as nearby road works hoped to help alleviate any extra traffic.

This has included creating a hamburger-style roundabout at the junction with Pingle Drive as well as on the A41 next to Tesco.

Bicester Village has also been working towards widening access and improving the approach into Bicester, including creating a dual carriageway in and out of the designer outlet.
