A MAN was hit in the face with an object, thought to be a pipe or baton, in an attack in Banbury, police said.
The 35-year-old was attacked in Alma Road, Banbury, last Tuesday at about 6pm, and left with injuries to his nose but police only released the infromation today. They said he was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

Police have said the attacker was in his late teens or early twenties, white, slims and with short fair, hair.
He was roughly 5ft 10ins they said and wearing jeans and a light blue zip-up top with two white stripes.
Investigating officer, Det Con Grahame Lea from Force CID in Banbury, said three men were seen in Alma Road at the time and the attacker was believed to have left the scene in the direction of Fulwell Close.
