Caught on CCTV: Man who forced his way into bank on a Friday night
A MAN who attempted to burgle a Witney bank by forcing his way in at 9.30pm on a Friday night is being hunted by police.
A would-be burglar made his way into the HSBC in Witney Market Square last Friday.
Police said he forced entry through the doors and shutters into the main foyer, then tried to access other parts of the bank before giving up and leaving the way he came.
Officers have now released CCTV pictures of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the break-in.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101.
