MADE of English sustainable hardwood and ash and with George etched across its back rail, this chair is fit for a prince.
Woodstock manufacturer the Real Wood Furniture Company has made its first Windsor children’s chair to celebrate Prince George’s birth and wants to present it to the future King himself.
Owner Chris Baylis said: “This was a very specific design, inspired by the arrival of Prince George.”
Mr Baylis is hoping to use vague connections to the Duchess of Cambridge to personally present it to the royal baby.
He said: “We’re checking out how we can do that at the moment.
“We know someone who might be able to put us in touch with Kate so we will see. I think it’s definitely a chair fit for a prince.”
The chair is being exhibited at the shop alongside 32 other chairs, dating from 1780 through to the present day, until the end of May.
