BOTH carriageways of the A44 have been re-opened as of 15.30 after a two car collision.
Two people were cut free after the collision between Yarnton and Begbroke at about midday.
The road had been closed both ways.
South Central Ambulance Service spokeswoman Michelle Archer said two ambulances had been sent to the scene. Paramedics had been told two vehicles have crashed.
Police spokeswoman Francine Rodrigues said: "We were called at 11.45am today to a two-car collision on the A44 between Yarnton and Begbroke.
"It involved a Toyota and a BMW.
"In order to attend to the people involved the road was closed from the Rising Sun roundbaout to the Oxford Garage roundabout."
