TINCHY Stryder headlined a fundraising festival for Aston Rowant cricket club last night.
The rapper performed in a barn on the farm in Crowell, near Chinnor, in front of few hundred people for the Astonbury Festival.
Afterwards, Tinchy, dubbed The Prince of Grime thanked the audience and organisers for having him.
He said: "The crowd was amazing. You've heard of a love, hate relationship. This is a love love relationship."
The East End star said he would be back again and that he'd thoroughly enjoyed headlining.
Tinchy wasn't the only big name organisers had managed to attract. They also lined up DJs from London's Ministry of Sound, who graced the stage alongside some smaller and local acts including singer-songwriter Emma McGann.
Wicket keeper Thad Cooper from Postcombe, near Lewknor, who organises the event with festival manager Gemma Walker, said: "It went pretty well and we had a good turnout. There was about 1,500 people in the end and it was meant to be an intimate gig."
Of Tinchy, Mr Cooper said: "He was the nicest person I have ever met in my life and an absolute pleasure to look after.
"He really appreciated what we are trying to do. He's perfect for the kind of crowd we had."
