BIRDS can eat and wash in style at a new exhibition in Oxford’s Turrill Garden over the next two months.

Feathering Their Nests, currently on show at the South Parade venue, features specially created bird tables and feeders which are also works of art.

Garden curator Katherine Shock said: “We have so many birds in the garden normally so it is nice to be able to have some sculptures which are useful to them.

“There are all sorts of types and different colours and the designs have a very organic and elegant feel to them.

“I have never seen anything like them, they really light up the garden.

“There is real variety and a great show of skill.”

The sculptures, which are on show until August 30, were made by artists Diana Barraclough, Neil Henderson, Ian Marlow and Lesley Williams.

An interview with Mr Marlow about his work is featured on the Turrill Garden website.
