BEING retired I can almost avoid travelling anywhere in rush hour but yesterday (October 6), I had to traverse the A34.
So I have some sympathy with Russ Perkins (Letters, October 7).
But who is there to enforce traffic violations now? Cuts to policing finance have not only resulted in the loss of many police officers they have also resulted in misery for Joe Public as crimes and traffic violations are not investigated or enforced.
A false economy I submit.
