Sadly the yellows have disappointed us again I am writing concerning Oxford Utd v Fleetwood.
Fleetwood supporters, all of whom probably travelled in the same minibus, deservedly applaud their team while disgruntled United fans traipse dejectedly from the ground after witnessing another abject home performance.
The public address thanks them for their support and looks forward to seeing them again. How many of them think – ‘yeah right’.
Faithfully a large core follow them home and away, probably because it is a more attractive option than going shopping with the missus but this must now be a really close call.
Getting into the plays-offs seems to be the nirvana.
Admittedly this would be a decent money spinner but more than likely a platform for more misery. To be honest these reverses, but for Ryan Clarke, would be five or six but even his positioning for the free-kick must be questioned.
I can see that David Kitson is probably not fit enough to last 90+ minutes but what has James Constable done to deserve his bench-warming position. It can’t be anything football related.
Sadly the Yellows, yet again, never fail to disappoint.
