Yesterday, as the three millionth motor came off the production line, Oxford’s contribution through the Cowley plant was hailed in this modern-day success story.
It is not being too jingoistic to think of this as our car now.
BMW have done a great job since taking over the brand and we look forward to seeing the six and ten millionth Mini emerging in due course.
