OXFORDSHIRE County Council is working hard, along with organisations such as the Environment Agency, to do what it can to alleviate the threat of flooding across the county.
But it is a matter of concern that it didn’t have its park-and-ride machines ready for the start of its new parking charges regime yesterday.
The scheme is of such significance that it should have all been in place well before the flooding hit the county.
