THE president of an Oxfordshire charity has been invited to a special event to commemorate 100 years since the signing of the Armistice.
The president of My Life My Choice (MLMC), a charity providing training, employment, volunteering and social activities for people with learning difficulties, has been invited to stand alongside members of the Royal family and Theresa May in the procession which will pay tribute to those that served in the First World War.
A total of 10,000 people will lace the streets of the capital on Sunday, November 11– 100 years since the singing of the Armistice.
Michael Edwards, the president of MLMC was invited by Her Majesty's Government to attend the National Service of Thanksgiving.
The charity ran, in partnership with Ruskin College, a project called 'The Pioneers' which has been recognised as a contribution made by people with learning disabilities during the First World War.
