SINGLE-use plastic will soon be a sign of the past, as more and more schemes begin to launch up and down the county in a bid to save the planet.
Joining these projects will be Farringdon Unwrapped, a co-op zero-waste pop up shop, set to launch in September by residents from the town who have clubbed together to fundraise for initial stock.
The profits from the shop, which will encourage people to shop with their own reusable containers, will be reinvested in the co-op or used for the benefit of our local community. Visit indiegogo.com/projects
