STAFF from a salon in southern Oxfordshire helped raise £6,500 for Cancer Research UK during the Windsor Race for Life.
Wallingford's branch of Spirit Hair Co joined colleagues from High Wycombe and Slough running and walking the 5km event.
Company co-owner Mikaela Martin, who joined around the time the Wallingford branch opened in 2008, said: “This year we really wanted to go all out to raise money for this amazing charity. We have a number of clients fighting cancer, and my co-director Lauren Turner tragically lost her best friend to cancer this year. It was a great way to get team members and clients together for a worthy cause and everyone had an incredible experience."
