GOLFERS at a village club have raised £3,500 for a special needs school with 12 months of activities.
Radley Golf Club chose Kingfisher School, in Abingdon, for their 2017/18 season charity and have recently handed over the sum, which will go towards improving facilities.
The main fundraising event was a charity day held in April, when golfers from many other local clubs joined members to compete on the nine-hole course, which is based at Radley College.
