THE history of the Royal Geographical Society will come alive at a multimedia lecture at Oxford's Museum of History of Science.

Drawing on stories of science and exploration the live performance will draw on Dr Emily Hayes’ Oxford Brookes University research into the history of the society.

There will be projected and animated images, as well as musical accompaniment to explore the history of the organisation.

It will be held today between 6pm and 7pm and is free to attend.
