STAFF at Bicester’s Pets at Home shop have joined in a campaign to show their support for Dementia Action Week by learning more about the condition.
The team has taken part in the Alzheimer’s Society programme to be ‘dementia friends’.
The programme aims to improve staff understanding and, in turn, improve the customer’s experience in store for those affected by dementia.
Store manager Sarah Smithson said: "Following the training, we hope customers and families who are affected by dementia will feel comfortable shopping in our store."
