RESIDENTS will have the chance today to explore the history of Abingdon with a day of guided walks.
These will include following the route of the original town boundary as it was when the Royal Charter was granted to Abingdon by Queen Mary in 1556.
Abingdon Naturalists will also lead a walk to Radley Lakes where there will be a spread of tea and cakes organised by the Friends of Radley Lakes. The free walks start from 10.30am, and all begin and end at the Market Place. Places can be booked on the day.
