A DAMAGED road sign has been branded a 'safety hazard' as councillor Les Sibley calls for immediate action for its repair.
The road sign at Dryden Avenue in Bicester appears to have been involved in a collision and is bent out of shape and leaning to one side.
Cherwell District councillor for the area Les Sibley said he reported the problem in March but it is yet to be fixed months later.
He added: "The damaged road sign is bent and twisted and is protruding onto the public footpath causing a safety hazard for pedestrians.
"The damaged road sign apart from being an 'eyesore' needs to be replaced sooner rather than later."
