A CITY councillor should be given the responsibility of promoting the Oxford Living Wage, senior councillors will be told tomorrow.
A review into how to promote it across the city was held last year and the council's executive board will receive councillors' recommendations at its meeting from 6pm.
The Oxford Living Wage is currently £9.26 an hour, which guarantees a worker £17,816 if they work a 37-hour week for a year. From April 1, that will increase to £9.69 an hour and will mean a minimum annual salary of £18,644.
