A FESTIVAL dedicated to celebrating science continues tomorrow with an evening of talks by top specialists.

The theme of the event is 'from conservation to innovation' and will start with a talk by Dr Eleanor Schofield, who has been leading work on preserving The Mary Rose, a flagship of Henry VIII’s English fleet, which sank off the coast of Portsmouth in 1545.

Then there will be a talk by Rob Buckingham who is head of robotics and artificial intelligence at the UK Atomic Energy Authority. The event will take place from 6pm at Our Lady's Abingdon. For tickets and more events visit atomfestival.org.uk
