AN OXFORDSHIRE charity has revealed plans to hold a colour run to raise funds this summer.

Style Acre, who support people with learning disabilities around the county, has submitted an application to Didcot Town Council to hold the event on a weekend in June.

Described as a 'riotous sensory event that appeals to children and teens as well as adults', the event would see runners race laps around Edmonds Park with 'colour stations' along the way where volunteers throw coloured powder at participants.

Councillors will make a decision on whether the event can go ahead will be made at a meeting of the Environment Committee on Monday.
