ABINGDON’S B&Q store has applied for planning permission to install new luminescent orange signage.
The shop on Fairacres Retail Park wants to replace one set of brightly-coloured signs saying B&Q with a fresh lot.
The new designs are largely similar to the existing but a slightly brighter shade of orange.
Residents can see the application and compare and contrast the current signs with the proposed on Vale of White Horse District Council’s website whitehorsedc.gov.uk using the application reference number P17/V3328/A.
The council is aiming to give the company a decision on its application by February 5.
