A SWEET shop in Faringdon is searching for inventive stories penned by schoolchildren.
Granny Beesley’s has launched a story competition aimed at children aged between five and 16 years old, who live in or go to school in the town or surrounding villages.
The retro sweet shop and pottery-painting studio is looking for illustrated stories set in the area, based on the theme of ‘winter’.
Entries will range in length depending on age category, and must be handed in or posted to the London Street shop by 6pm on Tuesday, December 5.
